The Workshop took place in Kasteel Bloemendal and at Aldenhoven Testing Site ATC, both very close to Aachen, Germany (Charlemagne).

To stay over we recommended the rooms offered by Kasteel Bloemendal, which could be booked at a special rate for the workshop. There was a bus transfer between the hotel and the testsite on Friday, 27 September.

By car

Please find Autobahn A4 (E314) exit "Aachen Laurensberg". At the exit turn right (to Aachen). After about 1km turn right (Melaten / Klinikum). Follow this road up to the end, when you turn right towards Vaals (NL). After crossing the border into Vaals pass the roundabout straight and shortly after follow the sign "Kasteel Bloemendal" to the left. You are driving directly to the castle.

By plane

Use Düsseldorf, Cologne, Brussels airport. Take a train to Aachen Hauptbahnhof. From Maastricht-Aachen Airport you need to take a bus or taxi to Vaals.

By train

Take a train to Aachen Hauptbahnhof. Then take a taxi (10 min ride) or bus (line 33 or 25 direction Vaals, last stop)
