The University of Bologna has a long standing track record on the development of system simulation software tools which will be exploited in the course of the DETECTOR project. In particular, simulation will be used for the detailed evaluation of the interference signature classification performance. The physical layer simulator will be used to validate techniques showing highest potential for exploitation. In particular, the defined figures of merit (Receiver Operating Characteristic and Mean Detection Time) will be assessed in the agreed system configurations.
